It was brilliant to play at the Ross-on-Wye bandstand today for the first time in three years, helped along by an appreciative audience, sunshine, and ice cream!

Lydney Training Band were proud to be part of today's Ukraine fundraising concert at St. Mary's church. A big shout out to Herbie, Millie & Sadie, who did superbly with their concert solo/duet debuts!

Last night the Starter Group were in action performing a range of solos and ensemble pieces for the residents of Lydney's Goode Court!

It's *so* fantastic to see our next generation of brass players (both youth and adult learners) getting out and about once again. 

​We would like to welcome Sue to the back row cornet team.  Sue has always played cornet and learnt to play in the Salvation Army in North Somerset. She still does good work for the Salvation Army and helped to lead the Children's programme for the Forest of Dean branch.

Having returned to playing after a 5 year break she is enjoying her music again and especially the new Summer programme currently being launched at Lydney. We hope she enjoys our team spirit at Lydney
