Christmas Carolling

Throughout December 2021, members of both Lydney Town and Lydney Training Bands took part in community carolling around the town. The mixed ensembles played in seven locations around Lydney including outside three residential homes on one evening, Bishops Mead (Lydney’s newest estate) and for the first time, Lydney Tesco. We also took part in a live Nativity, organised by the Salvation Army, around the village of Ruardean (donkeys included!) and a small contingent of players entertained the revellers of Shirenewton. All the money raised will go towards replenishing funds expended on the roof repairs carried out earlier in 2021.  ​
